One of the most elegant & desirable neighbourhoods in Toronto, Summerhill truly has it all. The area has some deep history and in the late 1800’s was developed around the North Toronto Railway Station which today is marked by the clock tower at Yonge and Summerhill as well as the best LCBO in the city. Spend your afternoons at the charming Toronto Lawn Tennis Club or shopping in some of the fine furniture stores or clothing boutiques. If the outdoors are more your thing, Balfour Park and the Rosehill Reservoir, have numerous trails for walking, running, and cycling. Close-by, Rosehill also features a children’s playground, wading pool, and several beautiful waterfalls. Homes in Summerhill have an abundance of character. There are some semi detached townhomes in the neighbourhood but the majority of houses here are older Victorian Style homes that have today combined with many modern homes to create an eclectic but classic feel throughout the mature tree lined streets.
